Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals diagnosed with Autism and related disorders in a clinical setting (beginning in Wausau, services will be an in-home setting)
Implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition plans under the direction and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)/Behavioral Treatment Therapist.
Observe and behavior and skill acquisition data
Complete accurate and timely therapy session notes
Strictly abide by the BCAB Code of Ethics
Work both independently and cooperatively as a therapy team member
Attend team meetings and training sessions regarding client specific programs, ABA techniques and/or clinical guidelines
Requirements
Experience and Requirements:
Minimum of a high school degree or equivalent
In pursuit of a bachelor's or associates degree in a related field (preferred)
Experience working with children (preferred)
ABA experience or paraprofessional experience (highly preferred)
Must pass a background check
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB is preferred and will result in a higher level of pay
Physical Requirements:
Must be attentive to the client and their safety at all times
Sustained physical activity and interactive play on the floor for up to 30-60 minutes at a time
Some therapy activities may involve running, sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting up to 30-50 pounds
