Job Description:

  • Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals diagnosed with Autism and related disorders in a clinical setting (sometimes services may be done in the client home).
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition plans under the direction and supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and/or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)/Behavioral Treatment Therapist.
  • Observe and behavior and skill acquisition data
  • Complete accurate and timely therapy session notes
  • Strictly abide by the BCAB Code of Ethics
  • Work both independently and cooperatively as a therapy team member
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions regarding client specific programs, ABA techniques and/or clinical guidelines




Experience and Requirements: 

  • Minimum of a high school degree or equivalent
  • In pursuit of a bachelor's or associates degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Experience working with children (preferred)
  • ABA experience or paraprofessional experience (highly preferred)
  • Must pass a background check
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB is preferred and will result in a higher level of pay

Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be attentive to the client and their safety at all times
  • Sustained physical activity and interactive play on the floor for up to 30-60 minutes at a time
  • Some therapy activities may involve running, sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting up to 30-50 pounds
